Ravens rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro wasn't able to go the traditional route in college, based on mistakes he made as a youngster.

He could've been a Division I prospect, but grades cost him scholarships from major-conference schools. He was forced to attend Lackawanna College before enrolling at Coastal Carolina, an FCS school in Myrtle Beach, S.C. But after letting his grades slide as an adolescent, Taliaferro got it together, graduating with a sociology degree when it was all said and done.

Speaking to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, Taliaferro said he's excited to have a second chance to realize his dreams.
