LVH sports book: Ravens over/under for wins in 2014 is 8.5

The LVH sports book believes the Ravens chances in 2014 are rather average.

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

After an 8-8 season, a huge leap back to double-digit wins can't be expected, at least from those that don't necessarily follow the Ravens on a day-to-day basis.

And with the Ravens getting 40-1 odds already for the Super Bowl, it's apparent the folks in Las Vegas aren't big on them right now across the board.

The latest trend with that is the fact the LVH sports book is now listing the Ravens' over/under win total at 8.5 (over: -120, under: even) for 2014, via the National Football Post.

Though the 8.5 over/under number isn't great, it's still the 10th-best among the 32 teams. Comparing the Ravens with the other AFC North teams, Cincinnati's over/under is 9 (over: -135, under: +115), Pittsburgh's is also 8.5 (over: -120, under: even) and Cleveland's is 6.5 (over: -150, under: +130), which seems rather high even with the Johnny Manziel draft pick.
