Ravens sign Timmy Jernigan, Brent Urban

Team signs two more draft picks.

The Ravens locked up two more draft picks, signing defensive tackles Timmy Jernigan and Brent Urban on Saturday.

That brings the total to seven draft picks signed with these two, receiver Michael Campanaro, tight end Crockett Gillmore, quarterback Keith Wenning, running back Lorenzo Taliaferro and offensive guard John Urschel all under contract.

With the 2011 CBA setting a rookie wage scale, it's much easier for teams to get players under contract sooner. Holdouts are essentially eliminated as a result.

The lone players left to sign are first-rounder C.J. Mosley and third-rounder Terrence Brooks.

Jernigan made 16 career starts in 40 games at Florida State, totaling 139 tackles and 8.5 sacks. He was named to the first-team All-ACC team this past season.

Urban played in 36 games at Virginia, starting 20. He had 75 total tackles, three sacks and 11 pass deflections.
