The Ravens will begin their rookie minicamp today, which will take place over the next two days.
This will be the first time the organization will get a chance to look at the team's rookies following the draft. In addition, the undrafted free agents will get their first chance to audition.
Here are three things to look for during the two-day event:
1) C.J. Mosley's adjustment: During the introductory press conference, Mosley and defensive coordinator Dean Pees mentioned that the terminology in Baltimore's scheme is similar to what he was used to at Alabama. This weekend will give Mosley the chance to test that out and see how fast he can react in the defense.
2) Lorenzo Taliaferro's ZBS running ability: Taliaferro will enter OTAs as the No. 3 running back on the roster behind Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce but will have a chance to impress the coaching staff this weekend. Taliaferro could wind up being a sleeper candidate this season, but will need to prove he can run within this Gary Kubiak scheme.
3) Undrafted free agent chances: The Ravens love it when undrafted free agents can contribute. This weekend will give the coaching staff a chance to see which ones stand out early. Leading candidates are James Hurst, Derrick Hopkins, Parkear Graham and Sammy Seamster.
Comment below with what you're looking forward to with this weekend's rookie minicamp.
