The Ravens seem to find an undrafted free agent or two each year that winds up contributing that particular team.
Last year it was Marlon Brown. Jameel McClain and Bart Scott were once undrafted free agents too. On Monday, the Ravens officially announced that 17 undrafted free agents have signed contracts, meaning there's another chance for some to make their dreams come true unconventionally.
Here's the list:
Western Kentucky LB Xavius Boyd
Temple DT Levi Brown
Tennessee-Martin WR Jeremy Butler
Northern Colorado WR Jace Davis
Oklahoma State OT Parker Graham
Virginia Tech DT Derrick Hopkins
North Carolina OT James Hurst
Texas A&M CB Tramain Jacobs
Houston P Richie Leone
Ashland DT Jamie Meder
Albany State S Dexter Moody
North Carolina A&T CB Deji Olatoye
North Texas LB Zachary Orr
Utah State DT A.J. Pataiali'i
Oregon CB Avery Patterson
Middle Tennessee State CB Sammy Seamster
Iowa OT Brett Van Sloten
Of this group, the biggest steal could be North Carolina offensive tackle James Hurst. He was seen as an early-round pick before a broken leg late in the season. He could be someone that winds up on IR out of training camp if the injury lingers. But there's a ton of potential to be tapped with Hurst.
