The Ravens have added yet another offensive player to the roster.
Adding depth at running back, the Ravens announced they've signed running back Justin Forsett.

Forsett has been a capable backup during his six-year NFL career. Selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2008 draft, Forsett has spent time there, with the Colts and most recently the Jaguars. Most notably, he spent the 2012 season with the Texans under Gary Kubiak, now the Ravens offensive coordinator.
This pickup could be an audition for him to see if he can provide the Ravens anything in a backup role due to his familiarity with the offense.
It's a solid addition for the time being but it most likely shouldn't affect where the Ravens stand in terms of drafting a running back. The franchise needs another back to develop in the long term, not someone that can help out for a season or two.
With Kubiak coming in with the intent to establish the run game, there could be more backs in camp than usual this preseason.
