With the 18th pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Ravens select: Calais Campbell?

NFL.com has done a do-over of the 2008 NFL draft where the Ravens took quarterback Joe Flacco in the first round. With the Ravens' first round pick, they chose defensive end Calais Campbell. In reality, Campbell was drafted in the 2nd round (50th overall pick) by the Arizona Cardinals. He has been an up and down player but has generally been a solid player on an Arizona defense that ranked 27th in the league last season. Campbell ended last year with 58 tackles and 9 sacks as one of his best statistical seasons.

One might ask where the Ravens' actual 18th round pick was selected in this mock re-draft. Quarterback Joe Flacco was selected 3rd by the Atlanta Falcons but was yet still overshadowed by Matt Ryan going first. As Ravens fans will know too well, Ryan has been more highly regarded in the media even though his accomplishments in the 'win' column pale in comparison to Flacco's multiple playoff wins and his Super Bowl ring.

Take a look at the NFL's selections and let us know in the comments what player you would rather select in the first round.
