Seventeen teams were on hand for Florida defensive tackle Dominique Easley's workout last week.
At least one paid some extra attention. According to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, Ravens defensive line coach Clarence Brooks made the trip down to Florida and spent some extra time working Easley out after his general workout in front of everyone else.
This should put Easley on the radar as a potential pick due to the extra notice.
Even with some knee issues (a torn left ACL in 2011 and a torn right ACL in 2013), Easley is projected to be a second-round pick. But due to his injury history, it wouldn't be surprising to see him fall to the third. If so, that would be quite the steal for one of the SEC's better defensive players.
If Easley can remain healthy, he has the potential to be a dangerous defensive lineman in the NFL. For his sake, hopefully the worst is behind him.
