With the Ravens picking at 17th overall, there has been some chatter among the fan base to trade up if there's a chance to get a top tier player.
Purple Reign Show's Ethan Felderstein is in that camp. Felderstein writes about a few prospects the Ravens could trade up for if there's a definite chance of grabbing that immediate impact kind of player.
Of course, the Ravens haven't traded up in the first round for a player since 2009, when they selected Michael Oher with the 23rd overall pick.

Options abound for the Ravens at the 17th overall pick.
They could take a receiver, a safety, cornerback or defensive lineman with the pick. But what about inside linebacker? Though, it may seem like that particular position is set, CSNBaltimore.com's Clifton Brown makes the case for taking Alabama inside linebacker C.J. Mosley if he's available.
Though Daryl Smith is at the position now, Mosley could compete with Josh Bynes and Arthur Brown for the other spot for the time being while potentially becoming a starter down the road.

The guys at Baltimore Sports and Life — Dan Bryden, Matt Jergensen and Mike Randall — put together a Ravens Roundtable, where they tackle a ton of relevant topics to the franchise.
Included in the discussion are potential first round draft picks, Eugene Monroe's workouts and missing on Sam Montgomery last year.
