NFL to release 2014 schedule April 22

Reports have the NFL 2014 regular season schedule being released next week.

The NFL has released a statement saying that contrary to reports floating around, they will not be releasing the full NFL schedule this week. However, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk has announced that some of his sources say the full NFL 2014 regular season schedule will be announced next week as early as April 22. He did cover himself by saying that it could be as late as the 25th, so at the least we should see it sometime next week.

The Ravens will host the Steelers, Browns, Bengals, Jaguars, Titans, Falcons, Panthers and Chargers. They will be visiting the Steelers, Browns, Bengals, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Saints, Colts and Texans. We should expect the Ravens to have at least one primetime game with them having the most interesting and marketable matchups against the Panthers and Steelers.

The Ravens finished 8-8 in 2013 and were second in the division with the Bengals leading the pack. They look to regain the top spot in the AFC North this year after improving their offense by adding veterans at wide receiver and center as well as resigning key members in tight end Dennis Pitta and left tackle Eugene Monroe. The Ravens hope to sure up their defense through the draft starting May 8th.

Expect all sports media to cover the schedule release in full primetime mode including hourly analysis of opponents, interesting matchups, and their Super Bowl picks. As always, we will have a story up immediate so check back often for the latest.
