Ravens offensive lineman Jah Reid pleaded not guilty to battery charges, stemming from an altercation he was allegedly involved in at a Key West, Fla. strip club.

According to The Baltimore Sun, Reid will have a pre-trial conference on April 30. He was not present for the plea.

Reid was arrested after allegedly assaulting a man during an argument at the Red Garter Saloon. The report states the incident was captured on tape.

Reid will enter the 2014 preseason with his job likely on the line. The arrest won't help matters. Ravens coach John Harbaugh recently said Reid is competing with Rick Wagner's for the starting right tackle job, though the Ravens are expected to take a tackle in the upcoming draft.

Reid also has experience along the interior, though A.Q. Shipley wound up playing ahead of him at left guard when Kelechi Osemele went down last season.
