The Ravens have inked versatile linebacker Albert McClellan to a two-year contract, the Baltimore Sun reported on Sunday.
McClellan has been a special teams standout the past three seasons after going undrafted out of Marshall and spending his first season on Baltimore's practice squad in 2010. In 2012, McClellan was a part of the outside linebacker rotation quite a bit. He's played both inside and outside linebacker with the Ravens.
Financial terms of McClellan's new deal with the Ravens were not reported.
McClellan had 12 special teams tackles a year ago, which led the Ravens. Signing this deal keeps McClellan from becoming an unrestricted free agent. It also adds needed depth to both linebacker spots in Baltimore's 3-4 defense.
