The Ravens recently sent representatives out to Indiana's Pro Day to get a good look at receiver Cody Latimer.
After the speedy receiver impressed with his speed and hands, the Ravens have reportedly taken the next steps in the evaluation process. According to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, Latimer has a visit lined up with the Ravens. Each team is allowed to host 30 players before the NFL draft.
Latimer ran a 40-yard dash clocked between 4.39 and 4.43 by those in attendance of his Pro Day. He also posted a 39.5-inch vertical leap. He's a rising prospect that could be someone that goes in the third-to-fifth round range.
He's got the size at 6-3, 215 pounds to be an outside receiver, though his speed could cause mismatches inside. The versatility Latimer could bring should be enticing to a Ravens' organization that always looks to find the right kind of value in the draft.
