Here's Baltimore Beatdown's open thread for today's activities, with news being updated throughout the first day of free agency. It's set to begin at 4 p.m. and it should be exciting.
Below is a timeline of items, with the most recent news updated near the top.
5:52 p.m.: ESPN's Josina Anderson is reporting that Jacoby Jones has a visit with the Giants lined up.
5:22 p.m.: CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora reports that Corey Graham will visit the Redskins.
5 p.m.: Eugene Monroe has officially signed a five-year deal to stay with the Ravens.
4:37 p.m.: The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson — who else at this point — is reporting that Julian Edelman has interest from the Ravens.
4:34 p.m.: The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson is reporting that a deal between the Ravens and Eugene Monroe is essentially done.
4 p.m.: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that defensive end Arthur Jones has agreed to a contract with the Indianapolis Colts for an average of $6 million per year.
3:12 p.m.: According to the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, the Ravens will evaluate the potential fit of tight end Owen Daniels, who was released by the Texans earlier Tuesday. Daniels played for Gary Kubiak in Houston.
2:42 p.m.: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots and Julian Edelman were unable to reach an agreement. Edelman will now test the free agent market. This, after the social media site twitter momentarily melted down.
1:31 p.m.: According to the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, the Ravens have offered tenders to exclusive rights free agents Josh Bynes, Adrian Hamilton, D.J. Bryant, Omar Brown, Anthony Levine and Brynden Trawick. The lone player not to receive a tender is restricted free agent Tandon Doss, who will become an unrestricted free agent today at 4 p.m. as a result.
