The Ravens have another legal matter to worry about.

Receiver Deonte Thompson was arrested Friday night on marijuana and paraphernalia charges after police pulled his vehicle over in Gainesville, Fla. He was pulled over for driving without his headlights on.

This is the latest issue for the Ravens, given the team is already dealing with Ray Rice's recent arrest for allegedly knocking his fiancee unconscious at a New Jersey casino.

"We are aware of the situation," Ravens team spokesman Chad Steele said, via the Baltimore Sun. "We are gathering more facts. There are two sides to every story."

Thompson had high hopes entering the 2013 season, with teammates raving about his speed and ability to play the slot position. However, injuries kept him from cracking the lineup early in the year and he didn't have that kind of breakout season some predicted for him.

More concerning than the marijuana charge might be who Thompson was hanging out with Friday night, who were also arrested. According to Florida radio station WUFT-FM, Erskrine J. McKinley, also in the car, spent three years in jail for two attempted murders, robbery, shooting a firearm, illegally possessing a gun and ammo. The vehicle's driver, Alvon J. Summerall, has previously pleaded guilty to burglary charges.

With Thompson being arrested, the NFL will look into the matter as well.
