For the time being, Ravens coach John Harbaugh expects Ray Rice to remain a part of the franchise.

A video was recently obtained by TMZ, which shows Rice dragging his unconscious fiancee, Janay Palmer, out of an elevator. According to police that arrested both Rice and Palmer, Rice knocked Palmer unconscious with his hand. Palmer was also accused of striking Rice, which is why both were arrested.

Harbaugh spoke to a contingency of local reporters at the NFL combine about the matter.

"The facts will determine the consequences," Harbaugh said, via the Baltimore Sun. "That's always the case, right? It's a process. We have to see how it goes."

On whether Rice could be dismissed, Harbaugh said, "Not that I'm aware of. I haven't seen anything that would remotely make me think that."

Rice's status is safe for now. Of course, if the video the police have is made public and is damaging, then that could change.

The Ravens have had a long history of staying patient and not rushing to judgment. As the facts play out, it appears the Ravens will play a wait-and-see approach.
