Ravens safety Matt Elam taking second job at Finish Line?

Maybe it's not a new full-time job, but he at least worked there one day.

When the NFL season wrapped up, safety Matt Elam traveled back to Gainesville, Fla. to finish up his degree.

Now that's something a lot of young NFL players do. Marlon Brown is doing the same thing as he's back at the University of Georgia to complete his studies.

But what Elam is also doing, at least what was posted on an Instagram account, isn't something many young NFL players would consider. He's working some at a local Finish Line retail store.

OK, we don't know if this was a one-day stunt or not. But it's still pretty cool to see Elam in his Finish Line gear as if he's ready for a work day in the retail world.

I doubt Elam will quit his day job any time soon. He signed a $6.767 million rookie contract with the Ravens after being taken with the 32nd overall pick.

But hey, why not earn a couple of extra dollars while he's back in Florida? It's not a bad way to pass the time during the early portion of the offseason.
