David Yankey is a mauler.
A two-time All-American, Yankey moved inside to guard this season, a much more natural position for the hulking 6-5, 311-pounder. He plays extremely mean and has the versatility to kick out to tackle, a position he played at Stanford before moving inside.
Yankey has the potential to be an early second-rounder, though he's fighting Xavier Su'a-Filo for the recognition of being the top interior lineman in this draft class.
He finishes his blocks and is a tough, rugged and determined player. Just check out his highlight tape. His blocks pop out in a big way, especially for those that saw what the Ravens' offensive line accomplished — or didn't — this past season.
