The Baltimore Ravens have the ability to clinch a playoff spot in week 16. Granted, it requires that a few things happen to other teams, but such is the life of an NFL team that couldn't win more divisional games.
Right now Baltimore has a 28.6% chance of nabbing the coveted Wild Card spot, but all scenarios require that the Ravens beat the Texans this week. From our good friends at NumberFire, we have the exact scenario and odds that go along with it
Baltimore clinches a playoff spot with: 28.6%
As you can see, the Ravens have the best shot of winning and having Kansas City lose or tie as well as San Diego lose or tie than they do of both Pittsburgh and Cincinnati losing this week. While Cincy plays the Denver Broncos and aren't exactly favorites in that game, the Steelers play a Kansas City team that hasn't won in Pittsburgh since 1986. Meanwhile, the Chargers have to play the San Francisco 49ers possibly without Phillip Rivers behind center. With San Francisco playing host to San Diego Saturday at 8:30PM, we will have a much better idea of who to root against for the Pittsburgh (1PM Sunday) and Cincinnati games (8:30PM Monday night).
