At least three new faces will be present inside Baltimore's locker room on Wednesday.
With the Ravens forced to move running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (foot sprain), safety Terrence Brooks (knee) and cornerback Asa Jackson (knee) to injured reserve, the Ravens added two players to the 53-man roster and two to the practice squad.
On the active roster, the Ravens promoted offensive lineman Ryan Jensen and signed defensive end Casey Walker from the Patriots practice squad. Jensen was drafted by the Ravens in 2013 but was relegated to the practice squad following this past summer's training camp.
Walker was originally undrafted in 2013 but signed with the Carolina Panthers, ending up on their practice squad. The Patriots plucked him away to their 53-man roster but eventually moved him down to their own practice squad.
Enter the Ravens, which then took Walker away on Tuesday.
There is still one open spot on the Ravens' 53-man roster.
In addition to those moves, the Ravens added defensive end Zach Thompson and cornerback Quinton Pointer to the practice squad.
Taliaferro moving to injured reserve ends his rookie campaign with 68 carries for 292 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Fitzgerald Toussaint will likely finish the year out with the 53-man roster.
