Fitzgerald Toussaint promoted to Ravens 53-man roster

This means Lorenzo Taliaferro will more than likely not play.

With rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro dealing with a foot injury, the Ravens made a roster move to ensure they'd have three running backs available this Sunday against the Jaguars.

According to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, the Ravens have made the move to promote practice squad running back Fitzgerald Toussaint to the 53-man roster on Saturday.

Toussaint has had brief stints on the 53-man roster during the season, but has spent the majority of the season on the practice squad. During the preseason, Toussaint showed some glimpses of being a tough runner with great vision. There's a chance he could actually get some carries against the Jaguars, though it's safe to assume Bernard Pierce will be the clear No. 2 back in the rotation this Sunday.

Wilson also reported that the corresponding roster move is moving offensive lineman Jah Reid (hand) to injured reserve.
