To read which Ravens players Jaguars fans would want, visit Big Cat Country's story HERE.
The Ravens have done well with some recent former Jaguars guys.
Daryl Smith has manned the middle linebacker spot since Ray Lewis retired. Eugene Monroe, albeit he's had some struggles of late, has been serviceable as the team's left tackle. Oh, and Justin Forsett. Yeah, that turned out to be the grand slam acquisition of the group.
So if the Ravens had the opportunity to take one player from this year's Jaguars group and place him on their roster, who should it be?
Here are the nominees:
RB Denard Robinson: Of course, Forsett has proven more formidable. But there's no denying Robinson's electric ability in the open field. His vision is underrated as he displayed a great deal of it when Rich Rodriguez was coaching at Michigan. Now that he's learning the ropes of being an NFL running back, he should be even better in year three. Of course, a foot injury has ended his 2014 campaign prematurely.
WR Allen Hurns: A diamond in the rough type, Hurns has both size and big-play potential in the receiving game. He came into the league rawer than other rookie teammates Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson, but the ceiling might be hire for Hurns. Hurns leads the Jaguars in yards (566) and touchdowns (six).
S Johnathan Cyprien: Oh, how the Ravens could use Cyprien in their below-average group of safeties. He leads the Jaguars with 90 total tackles, which isn't necessarily a good thing. But the stats show he's making tackles, something a certain Ravens safety hasn't been doing.
LB Paul Posluszny: Posluszny is probably Jacksonville's best player, regardless of offense or defense. Unfortunately for Poz, his season ended with a torn pectoral muscle. When healthy, he's shown glimpses of being an upper tier linebacker in this league.
With the nominees set, it's time to vote!
