Two weeks that Justin Forsett has played, two weeks worth of trophies for the journeyman rusher. After his 182 yard outing, Forsett earned his second AFC Offensive Player of The Week
Forsett said it was the best game of his career.
It's crazy when you think about where I was at this time last year - mostly doing a lot of scout team work [with the Jacksonville Jaguars]. I am just thankful for the journey I'm on. God has been faithful for me, and to just get the opportunity when I thought I would never get it again; it's a blessing.
With Forsett's game against the Saints, he has 903 yards on the season with 7 touchdowns. He is averaging 82.1 yards per game but 5.8 yards per carry. The Ravens will likely look to resign Forsett this offseason with the type of work he has put in during the 2014 season with the Ravens.
It's the fourth award Ravens players have won this season. Quarterback Joe Flacco got the same award back in week 6 for his work against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and rookie linebacker C.J. Mosley was named the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Month for October.
