Lardarius Webb named Ed Block Courage Award winner

Dealing with multiple injuries in his career, the Ravens voted for Webb as the 2014 recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award.

There's something to be said about Lardarius Webb being able to bounce back and continue his NFL career despite two ACL surgeries and other numerous injuries.

For instance, this year, Webb has played through a back injury that lingered heavily throughout the preseason and early portion of the regular season. In 2012 he suffered an ACL tear that ended his season, and he'd previous torn an ACL earlier in his career.

No matter the injury, Webb has been able to bounce back and continue his football career. And for that, his teammates have voted him the 2014 recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award.

Webb may have had his ups and downs during the 2014 season. But no one can question his effort and heart. Webb certainly deserved this honor.

The award is named after Ed Block, a longtime trainer for the Baltimore Colts.
