Mosley has quickly built a case to be the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year, especially if he can carry over his performance from the first eight games into the final eight. Thus far, he's totaled 76 total tackles, which ranks fourth in the NFL.
In four games this season — Steelers (10), Panthers (11), Colts (15) and Bengals (13) — Mosley has recorded double-digit tackles. He's recorded one forced fumble and two interceptions. Both of his picks came in the month of October.
In a recent interview with Baltimore Beatdown, former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis said Mosley was off to an impressive start as a rookie.
"What I like about the boy is he's making the game simple," Lewis said. "He's finding the football. If you want to play linebacker a long time in this game, no matter if you're in year one, year 10, or year 12, find the football. And he's finding the football."
