Report: A.J. Green OUT vs. Ravens

Green will miss today's game vs. Ravens according to reports.

Andy Lyons

NFL Network's Stacey Dales and Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk have been a few media members to report that Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green will be ruled OUT today versus the Ravens. Green hasn't participated in practice all week so the news of his absense isn't that surprising.

Green has been dealing with toe injury that has sidelined him the previous two weeks.

The Bengals have been missing Green given that they haven't won in his absense. Two weeks ago, the Bengals tied a struggling Carolina Panthers team and last week they lost to the Indianapolis Colts, having not put a single point on the scoreboard.

Once again, Mohammad Sanu will be the Bengals top receiving threat against a Ravens secondary that has been improving of late. The Ravens have been applying more pressure with their pass rush, forcing opposing quarterbacks to have a quicker release with the ball. Sanu has speed, but his hands will be more important today.

For a game which will reward the winner with the lead in the AFC North, seeing Green on the sidelines is a minor victory before kickoff for the Ravens.
