Happy New Year!

Here's a big thank you to all of those who participate on this blog. I can't thank you guys enough for reading and for taking the time to comment. There's nothing better than talking sports and you guys make this extremely enjoyable.

Though the Ravens were unable to extend their 2013 season into the new year, they made things eventful by being competitive in most of their ball games. Baltimore had nine games decided by three points or less. Last year, more of those games went their way.

This year, they didn't get those same breaks and went 5-4 in those games.

Finishing 8-8 gets the offseason started early, something the Ravens aren't used to. It should be an eventful time as fans debate what the organization should do in the first round of the draft. Free agency will also be a big factor, with certain players becoming free agents.

Though the season ended on a sour note, here's to the new year beginning. Though the Ravens' 2013 season is over, the 2014 campaign is most definitely underway.
