Jacoby Jones: Ravens caught Rahim Moore 'slipping'

The Ravens' receiver caught the game-tying touchdown catch that ultimately propelled Baltimore to a 38-35 divisional round victory over Denver this past January.

Jacoby Jones fondly remembers his game-tying catch against the Broncos.

With less than a minute to go and at the Baltimore 30-yard line, quarterback Joe Flacco heaved a pass down the right sideline. Broncos safety Rahim Moore looked to be in position until he wound up a step behind the play.

The ball fell into receiver Jacoby Jones' arms as he sprinted the rest of the way for a touchdown, to tie the divisional round game 35-35. The Ravens went on to win 38-35 in double overtime.

Moore took a lot of criticism from the Denver media for not making the play, something he had enough time to do in that situation.

"I think he was trying to make a play and we caught him slipping," Jones said. "They weren't up for us. Bingo."

In an ironic sequence of events from the NFL, the Ravens will once again visit Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium to open the 2013 regular season.

Jones is expecting the same kind of atmosphere this Thursday, when the two teams square off.

"I think it will be the same as January," Jones said. "They'll be ready for us to come out."
