Ray Rice will play against the Bills.
The Ravens will welcome back their star running back after sitting out last week's win over Houston with an injured hip flexor. Rice was hopeful all week that he could play and got the good news just now. How much Rice plays remains to be seen, though it should be expected that Bernard Pierce will still get his fair share of carries.
Also active for Baltimore is Chris Canty, who also missed last week's Houston game due to a groin injury. Receiver Deonte Thompson will make his regular season debut after spraining his foot during the preseason.
Receiver Brandon Stokley, who injured his groin during practice this week, has been scratched from Sunday's game.
Here are the inactives for both teams:
Ravens inactives: WR Jacoby Jones, S Jeromy Miles, LB Arthur Brown, DT Terrence Cody, OL Jah Reid, C Ryan Jensen, WR Brandon Stokley.
Bills inactives: K Dustin Hopkins, CB Leodis McKelvin, CB Stephon Gilmore, S Jairus Byrd, S Ron Brooks, G Doug Legursky, WR Marquise Goodwin.
