Report: Jacoby Jones injures head during party bus brawl

The already injured receiver was reportedly out partying with some teammates when a brawl broke out that wound up with a champagne bottle hitting Jones' head.

If the TMZ report is in fact true, Jacoby Jones' night did not end well.

Receiver Jacoby Jones already had one injury to deal with.

Early Monday morning, he reportedly had another. According to a report from TMZ, Jones was hit in the head with a champagne bottle while he and his teammates were on a party bus with at least one stripper nicknamed Sweet Pea.

The Ravens players on the bus were out partying in Washington, D.C. in celebration of left tackle Bryant McKinnie's birthday. At some point, Jones was hit in the head with an oversized champagne bottle, which left his head bleeding. The report states that the altercation broke out after 3 a.m. and an ambulance was ultimately called for Jones.

The report alleges Sweet Pea was the one who hit Jones over the head with the bottle. When Jones' friends wanted to retaliate against her, McKinnie tried to smooth things over. That didn't work and a friend of Jones and McKinnie got into a scuffle.

Drama central.

No arrests were made when police arrived to the scene. An ambulance was called but Jones was not hospitalized.

After the report surfaced, the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson got a hold of Jones' agent, Kennard McGuire, who said Jones is OK. Reading between the lines, there doesn't appear to be confirmation or denial on the TMZ story.

Jones sprained his MCL in the opening week against Denver and has been sidelined since. It's unclear when he'll return to the playing field.
