Here's Monday's injury report for Thursday's Ravens-Broncos game:
BALTIMORE RAVENS
OUT: DT Arthur Jones (non-football illness), TE Dennis Pitta (dislocated hip).
DID NOT PARTICIPATE: C Ryan Jensen (foot), WR Deonte Thompson (foot), DT Brandon Williams (toe).
FULLY PARTICIPATED: TE Ed Dickson (hamstring).
Analysis: With Dickson fully participating, it appears he'll be good to go for Thursday's game against Denver, barring any unforeseen setbacks. With Lardarius Webb not appearing on the injury report, that can be taken as a good sign that he's 100 percent for Thursday (though John Harbaugh pretty much assured that on Sunday.)
What's a tad strange is the fact that Jones has been ruled out for Thursday's game. About a week ago, Harbaugh said he had a personal health issue he needed to deal with and that it wasn't serious. Now he's ruled out for the season-opener.
The Ravens will likely open the game with Marcus Spears at the three-technique spot, but could move Haloti Ngata over in certain packages, which would allow Terrence Cody to work in with the first team at nose tackle.
DENVER BRONCOS
DID NOT PARTICIPATE: RB CJ Anderson (knee), CB Champ Bailey (foot), TE Joel Dreessen (knee).
LIMITED PARTICIPATION: G Chris Kuper (ankle)
FULL PARTICIPATION: DE Robert Ayers (achilles), T Ryan Clady (shoulder), QB Brock Owsweiler (L Shoulder), WR Wes Welker (ankle).
Analysis: The Broncos are hoping Bailey will be ready for Thursday. Without him, the Broncos' secondary will need Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to step up and defend Torrey Smith. That said, it's going to take a lot to keep Bailey from playing this Thursday.
