The last thing the Ravens need is another tight end injured.
After Ed Dickson tweaked his hamstring during Sunday's practice in Annapolis, Md., the coaching staff took him out for the remainder of practice.
"His hamstring grabbed a little bit so we pulled him out for precautionary reasons," coach John Harbaugh said. "We'll take a look at it tomorrow and see how it looks."
Harbaugh also gave updates on injured players James Ihedigbo and David Reed, who both missed practice.
Ihedigbo is dealing with a neck strain and Reed has a groin injury.
"We're just getting James a rest on the neck," Harbaugh said. "He kind of tweaked it a little bit, a little strain in there. A couple of special teams drills, he goes pretty hard there."
On Reed: "Nothing serious with David. Just resting."
Ihedigbo was in the locker room after practice and briefly spoke about his injury.
"I'll be all right," Ihedigbo said. "It's nothing that's going to hinder me through the season or anything like that. I just wanted to be safe with it."
