On Friday, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said any injuries that happened in practice were minor.
That must've meant that safety James Ihedigbo and wide receiver David Reed sustained injuries during that Friday practice, which potentially led them to missing Sunday's open practice, held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.
Both Ihedigbo and Reed were absent from the field when individual drills began around 5 p.m.
Returning to practice on Friday was offensive lineman Ramon Harewood, who has been nursing a sore knee lately.
Right guard Marshal Yanda (rotator cuff surgery) is not participating in Sunday's practice. Neither are linebacker Jameel McClain (spinal cord contusion) and defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore.
This is the second consecutive season the Ravens are holding an open practice at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Owner Steve Bisciotti, attending the practice, is from Annapolis and had hoped for his team to play in front of the fan base in this part of the state.
There are two upcoming open practices the Ravens will hold, including one at M&T Bank Stadium next Sunday on Aug. 11.
