The Ravens made one more roster move, waiving receiver LaQuan Williams. This frees up an additional spot, giving Baltimore 52 players on the 53-man roster. When Dennis Pitta goes to IR-designated to return on Tuesday, the Ravens will have 51 (though it's expected Billy Bajema takes Pitta's roster spot at that point.)
So let the speculation begin as to who takes Williams' spot. Someone from the outside or from the practice squad?

Doss does make sense, even though he had a five catches for 75 yards on Thursday. He had a horrible preseason up until then. Rainey and Brown, however, were solid throughout, but appear to be victims of the numbers game. Bajema leaves the tight end group with just Ed Dickson and Dallas Clark.
This looks like a spread offense, let Joe Flacco throw for 4,000-plus yards kind of team.

The last few cuts are trickling in it would seem. Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reported three cuts are in, including tight end Matt Furstenburg, defensive end Cody Larsen and tackle Joe Unga.

The Ravens announced the following cuts in addition to Alex Silvestro, Marc Anthony, Anthony Allen and Nigel Carr:
RB Delone Carter, LB Brandon Copeland, QB Dayne Crist, QB Caleb Hanie, OT Jordan Devey, OT Rogers Gaines and C Reggie Stephens.
OLB D.J. Bryant has been placed on season-ending injured reserve after suffering ligament damage during Thursday's night's final preseason game.
That leaves the Ravens with 63 players on their roster and 10 more cuts to go by Saturday's 6 p.m. deadline.
Friday, 12:41 p.m.
According to the Baltimore Sun, tight end Alex Silvestro and cornerback Marc Anthony have been released. Anthony is a bit of a surprise since the Ravens selected him in the seventh round of the 2013 draft. Rarely do the Ravens cut draft picks in the year they're taken.
Friday, 11:25 a.m.
Running back Anthony Allen, who was Jacoby Jones' lead blocker on returns a year ago, will be released.

It appears the first roster casualty is linebacker Nigel Carr, who was on the bubble for a linebacker spot. According to Aaron Wilson at the Baltimore Sun, he has been let go.
