Ray Rice has always kept his body in the best shape possible, especially during the offseason.
Even when he was holding out for a new contract during the 2012 offseason, Rice was partaking in various training exercises, such as running up the stairs of a football stadium with a keg on each arm.
So it shouldn't be a surprise that Rice showed up to training camp in great shape once again.
"We know that the grunt days are coming and this is a time, like I said, when you finish off from minicamp, it’s time for us to gel," Rice said when camp opened last Thursday. "But it’s also time for us to get after each other and get to know each other, and this is the time to get us ready for a long season, and that’s what training camp is all about. It’s not supposed to be easy, but at the same time, it’s all about the team and us coming together for one reason."
Rice is sponsored by training systems company VertiMax, which passed on some videos of Rice working out this offseason and preparing for training camp. You can view individual drills here or watch an entire workout below.
