As we all know, the Baltimore Ravens have seriously bolstered their pass-rushing attack by adding veteran outside linebacker, Elvis Dumervil, after a contract mix-up with the Denver Broncos allowed him to slip into the open market. Along with this huge free-agent pick-up, the Ravens now have Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata, and Lardarius Webb back healthy after injuries hindered their performance last season. For a team that is supposed to be considerably weaker on defense after the retirement of Ray Lewis and losing Ed Reed to free agency, it sure sounds like this year's defense has all of the potential in the world to be solid.
With everyone returning healthy, the defense is primed for a season of fearsome pass-rushing. So, Baltimore Beat Down, how many sacks do you think our defense will pile up this season? Leave a comment telling how many sacks you think we can expect from the defense and why.
