Linebacker Jameel McClain and offensive guard Marshal Yanda will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list, the Ravens announced on Monday.
McClain suffered a spinal cord contusion against the Redskins last season and is still in the rehabilitation process. Yanda had rotator cuff surgery this offseason and will be expected to start in Baltimore's season-opener against Denver.
McClain is expected to earn back his starting job whenever he's cleared for contact. When that might be is unknown at this time.
The Ravens also announced that rookie defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore has been placed on the non-football injury list. Lewis-Moore, who played college football at Notre Dame, tore his ACL against Alabama in the BCS National Championship.
The Ravens did not make an announcement on cornerback Lardarius Webb, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata or nose tackle Terrence Cody. Webb tore his ACL against Dallas in Week 6 of the 2012 season and was reportedly expecting a move to the PUP list. Ngata has been rehabbing a sprained knee that was sustained in Baltimore's Super Bowl victory. Cody had offseason hip surgery that left him very limited during the offseason workout schedule.
Roster Move
The Ravens waived receiver Omarius Hines, an undrafted rookie receiver out of the University of Florida.
