Ravens 2013 Win Total

How many games do you think the Ravens will win in the 2013 regular season?

USA TODAY Sports

Over the past five years in the tenures of head coach John Harbaugh and QB Joe Flacco, the Baltimore Ravens have won, in order since the 2008 season, 11, 9, 12, 12 and 10 games. The last two years have resulted in back-to-back AFC North titles.

That's an average of of 11 regular season wins per season, and they are the only NFL team to have five consecutive playoff appearances over this span. In comparison, the Ravens 54 victories is one more than the Pittsburgh Steelers, nine more than the Houston Texans and 17 more than the Cincinnati Bengals. Over those five previous seasons, only the New England Patriots have more wins than Baltimore (60).

Despite losing more than half of their defensive starters and a few key pieces on the offensive side of the ball, the Ravens appear to have fortified those losses with younger, faster and perhaps even better players than the ones that they lost. While this is debatable, will it translate to more, less or the same amount of wins as last year?

You decide.
