The first NFL game I ever saw was an irrelevant regular season game between the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks. It was a chilly game in the midst of fall between two teams with mediocre records, but it didn't matter to me because I was watching a live NFL game up-close-and-personal. I loved it. The smell of the freshly-cut grass, the yell of thousands of crazy fans, and the overpowering smell of beer and greasy food. I cannot recall the outcome of the game, but honestly it doesn't matter because it was the experience that mattered. There was something simply American about being in an NFL stadium during a Sunday evening and it was an event I will truly never forget.
So Baltimore Beat Down, tell us about the first NFL game you saw live!
