Leaving Ravens has not mellowed Pollard | Comcast SportsNet Baltimore
The message reads: 'Goal – Super Bowl, Mission – Kill!!!' Pollard does not sound worried if anyone is offended. "Our goal is the Super Bowl and our mission is to kill," Pollard told the Tennessean. "And if someone doesn’t like it, then who cares? I really couldn’t care less. It is not our responsibility to make anyone else happy, to please you, to care about you."
The Competition: Safeties
Matt Elam (5-10, 210, first round): The 32nd-overall pick has been a standout performer during his first couple months in Baltimore. He can play either safety position, and the Ravens have moved him all over the field. Elam was an All-American at Florida, and he’s comfortable coming up to defend the run or playing back in coverage. Elam is known for his speed and hard-hitting ability, and he also showed off his ball skills with a few interceptions of Joe Flacco during minicamp.

Now, no one is going to argue that the No. 52 of the final years was the same search-and-destroy linebacker from earlier in his career. But Ravens fans would likely find Dameshek’s assessment a bit harsh.

Late For Work 6/19: 4 Ways Ravens Could Spend Extra Cap Cash
Baltimore could sign a veteran wide receiver. The team is apparently waiting on such a move because they want to give their current crop of young receivers a chance to step up. However, the money is there if the team opts to pursue a veteran in training camp.
