Could we operate out of the 4-3 and the 3-4

Our new personnel allows us to be versatile

This was on the daily Ravens links of 6/15/13. I think we could operate out of the 3-4 and the 4-3. Our DB's would be the same no matter where we played. I'll show starters and backups for each alignment (I won't bother with 3rd string).

3-4

DE: Arthur Jones, Marcus Spears

NT: Haloti Ngata, Brandon Williams

DT: Chris Canty, DeAngelo Tyson

Rush: Terrell Suggs, Pernell McPhee

Will: Arthur Brown, Albert McClellan

Mike: Daryl Smith, Jameel McClain

Sam: Elvis Dumervil, Courtney Upshaw

4-3

DE: Terrell Suggs, Pernell McPhee

DT: Haloti Ngata, Terrence Cody

DT: Chris Canty, Brandon Williams

DE: Elvis Dumervil, DeAngelo Tyson

OLB: Daryl Smith, Courtney Upshaw

MLB: Jameel McClain, Albert McClellan

OLB: Arthur Brown, John Simon

I'm not completely sure if I got the all of the position changes right. In either formation we are putting plenty of talent on the field. I think both lineups would produce. I think the key here is playing both 3-4 and 4-3. They can't just plan around our weaknesses (which we might not even have) in one formation. Mixing it up is probably the best way to go.
