NFL.com ranked the league's head coaches (NFL Head Coach Power Rankings) and Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was given the third overall spot amongst the 32 teams. Not a bad placement for a guy who has only been a head coach for five years, huh?
Harbaugh has led the Ravens to the post season in every season since he took over in 2008, a very impressive statistic although you might have to give a lot of credit to his QB, Joe Flacco, who has the same streak as his coach.
On the other hand, the guy in front of him has only been a head coach for two seasons and is John's younger brother, Jim. The elder Harbaugh (John) beat the younger one (Jim) in the most recent Super Bowl, as well as their only other head-to-head match-up, on Thanksgiving Day evening 2011.
Not surprisingly, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is on top of the list and while perhaps deservingly so, he has lost his last two match-ups to John Harbaugh as well.
Right behind John, in order, are Tom Coughlin (New York Giants), Sean Payton (New Orleans Saints), Mike McCarthy (Green Bay Packers) and Mike Tomlin (Pittsburgh Steelers).
