The Baltimore Ravens Are White House Bound

It is an age-old tradition for professional teams who win their league's championship to visit the White House and meet the President of the United States. That tradition will continue when on Wednesday the Baltimore Ravens make their trip to the White House to visit Barack Obama in honor of their Super Bowl 47 victory. The entire event will be aired on the Baltimore Ravens Official Website as our purple-birds make their (not-too-far) journey to our nation's capital. This trip will be the final destination of Baltimore's historic 2012 season.

President Obama to Honor Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens at the White House

WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, June 5, President Obama will welcome the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens to the White House to honor the team and their Super Bowl XLVII victory. This visit will also continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to communities as part of their trip to Washington. More logistical details of the event will be released when they become available.

WHEN: Wednesday June 5, 12:00 PM EST
