In an attempt to be thoroughly prepared for this year's NFL Draft the Baltimore Ravens conducted a local pro day in order to expand their list of scouted players. This local pro day is the perfect opportunity for Ozzie Newsome and company to get a chance to inspect some of the talent that otherwise could've passed from right under their noses. The eleven players who attended are as follows:
WR Tavon Austin, West Virginia (Dunbar High School, Baltimore)
DL Chris Burnette, Old Dominion (Gilman School, Baltimore)
LB/DE Brandon Copeland, Penn (Gillman School, Sykesville, Md.)
S Jordan Dangerfield, Towson (Palm Beach High School, Palm Beach, Fla.)
OL Steve Demilio, Gardner-Webb (Milford Academy, Severna Park, Md.)
QB Grant Enders, Towson (Old Mill High School, Millersville, Md.)
Corey Fuller, Virginia Tech (Woodlawn High School, Baltimore)
DL A.J. Francis, Maryland (Gonzaga High School, Severn, Md.)
S/LB Josh Francis, West Virginia (Damascus High School, Damascus, Md.)
S Terance Garvin, West Virginia (Loyola Blakefield High School, Baltimore)
WR Gerrard Sheppard, Towson (McDonogh High School, Owings Mills, Md.)(Via BaltimoreRavens.com)
A lot of these players look to have a bright future in the NFL, especially Tavon Austin, and I would not be surprised if at least one or two of them find themselves playing for the Ravens come the first week of the pre-season!
