After about a month (give or take) Joe Flacco's reign as the highest paid QB has come to an end. Earlier today the Dallas Cowboys struck a five year deal with up to $108 million and $55 million guaranteed (as opposed to Flacco's $52 million). This move honestly comes as a shock to me as after being in the NFL for 11 years Romo has only won a single playoff game. However he's represented consistency at the QB position for the Dallas Cowboys, and that is something that cannot be overstated for that organization. There is a new deal on the horizon, however, for Aaron Rodgers which is sure to eclipse both Joe Flacco and Tony Romo's deal. At least now the pundits at ESPN can lay off of their criticism of Flacco's deal.
