The Ravens made things official by announcing that receiver Brandon Stokley was heading to the injured reserve list after sustaining a concussion against the Vikings on Sunday.
This ends Stokley's season after catching 13 passes for 115 yards in six games played. In addition to the concussion, he's dealt with a groin and knee injuries this season.
Stokley has had quite a few concussions in his day. You have to wonder if this is near the end of the road for him as far as his career is concerned.
The Ravens also announced that it re-signed running back Bernard Scott to fill the roster spot. Scott was let go by the Ravens last week after the organization activated tight end Dennis Pitta to the 53-man roster.
Originally signed before Baltimore's Week 9 game against the Browns, Scott has yet to see a snap in the backfield.
