Adrian Peterson caused somewhat of a stir when he called the Ravens' fan base the worst in the NFL, due to some seated behind the Vikings bench throwing snowballs at the road team.

On Monday, coach John Harbaugh was asked about the incident at his weekly press conference, to which he seemed to laugh off.

"Who doesn't throw snowballs when it snows? Maybe Minnesota, because they're so used to snow," Harbaugh said. "Maybe that has gotten old for them."

Point taken.

Was the incident overblown once Peterson sounded off on social media? Probably — we can be blamed for joining in as well. But if the worst thing to happen to the Vikings' bench is a snowball fight, they'll live, be OK and still enjoy their gigantic paydays each week.

As far as Peterson calling the Ravens' fans the worst in the NFL, Harbaugh defended the M&T Bank Stadium faithful that braved the elements to watch one of the most thrilling endings in franchise history.

"What do you want me to say? We have the best fans in the NFL — I can tell you that," Harbaugh said.
