Haloti Ngata was able to return to practice Friday in a limited setting.
That's the good news.
However, his status is still questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. It's still unknown if he'll be able to give it a go when the two teams suit up at M&T Bank Stadium.
Lardarius Webb and Daryl Smith are also questionable, though they at least practiced all week in a limited setting. They should be fine for Sunday.
Coach John Harbaugh told reporters that there's a chance tight end Dennis Pitta could suit up Sunday. However, that scenario does seem a bit unlikely. But for gamesmanship purposes, Pitta was left off the injury report, most likely since he's not counting toward the 53-man roster at this time.
