The Ravens signed offensive lineman David Mims to the practice squad, the organization announced on Wednesday.
This move was made public shortly after the Buffalo Bills announced that they signed Ravens practice squad lineman J.J. Unga to their 53-man roster.
Unga originally signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in May. He had a solid training camp and was seen as a developmental player for the organization.
Of course, teams around the league have their own scouting departments to keep up with which players could add depth to their rosters. With Unga on the practice squad, the Bills decided they would go after him, obviously coveting the young lineman.
Mims attended college at Virginia Union and was also a member of the Ravens during the offseason and preseason. However, he was released during the first wave of initial cuts in August.
