The Ravens received some good news Wednesday, with an important member to their offense returning to the practice field.

That's right, Pitta will be back on the field for the Ravens in practice. It's the first time hell participate with his teammates since fracturing and dislocating his hip during the first week of training camp. He has a three-week window to be activated to the 53-man roster and will remain on the injured reserve-designated to return list until that's done.

The Ravens' offense has been inconsistent at best this season and could use Pitta back in the mix. Pitta was one of Joe Flacco's favorite targets a year ago, with the two developing a close bond on and off the field.

Now that Pitta is back at practice, the next step will be when he's ready for game action.
